Without light, photography would not exist.
Without light, Life would not exist.
At Photo Start, we help kids find their light and make it shine, creating a brighter future for themselves. For 2021 we are asking you and the rest of our Family to spread Photo Start’s light far and wide. Through our Peer-to-Peer Fundraising and social media campaign, #BE_THE_LIGHT, we are going to raise $10,000 to help close the digital divide and catalyze economic advancement in low-income communities.

It’s easy to join our crusade:
Step 1: Follow, like, share, and comment on our social media channels. The bigger our family, the greater impact we can make.
Step 2: On your social channels, show us your “LIGHT” stories: What lights your fire? What is your passion, talent, or skill, and how are you making it shine? How are you lighting the way for others in your family, your community, and our world? Add #BE_THE_LIGHT and follow other’s stories for inspiration and motivation.
Step 3: Hold a Peer-to-Peer Fundraiser. You’ll be surprised how quickly a few dollars here and there add up to hundreds, even thousands! Download our Peer-to-Peer Fundraising Playbook for instructions, key messages and tips.
